Children are not vessels to be filled, but lamps to be lit. The Vision of our Poojya Gurudev Swami Chinmayananda was to make every Chinmaya Vidyalaya into a School with a difference. The foundation stone for Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Cannanore was laid by H. H Swami Chinmayananda on 3rd February 1977. In August 1989 the Vidyalaya was up-graded into the Senior Secondary level.
